How Our Network Works
Talk to a provider on your terms
Who You Talk To
You talk to an independent provider. That is a local business that does window replacement or siding work. It is not Interestingwish Windows & Siding. Interestingwish Windows & Siding makes the introduction, and then the conversation is between you and the provider.
There are no named staff to meet here, and that is on purpose. The people who matter are the ones who will look at your house.
What Happens on the First Conversation
Expect a few plain questions. How many windows are you thinking about? What is the age and style of the house? Is it siding, windows, or both? Do you notice drafts, fogging, or soft spots?
The provider may then offer to visit and take measurements. Many providers can respond quickly, but availability varies. You can request a callback to check provider availability.
What to Ask a Provider
A short list keeps things easy. Bring it with you.
- Is the estimate in writing, with materials and labor listed?
- What energy efficient window options fit my house and climate?
- Do you work on older homes? How do you handle surprises behind old walls?
- Who does the installation, and who handles permits?
- How long will the job take, and what could change that?
- What warranty comes with the product and the work?
If you are comparing vinyl siding with other materials, ask for the trade-offs of each in plain words.
Older Houses Deserve Extra Questions
If your home has been repaired before, say so. Ask the provider how they check for rot, old flashing, or hidden damage before they quote. A careful answer is a good sign. A rushed one is worth a second look.
You Are in Control
You do not have to decide on the first visit. You do not have to accept the first estimate. Get two or three, set them side by side, and think it over.
If a provider pushes you, you can step back. Nothing here requires you to sign anything. Estimates come with no obligation.
